wtf is stfupls?

i hate the way browsers handle bookmarks. i use several different browsers on several different machines and without fail the one i'm using at the moment is outdated and doesn't have the bookmark or link i'm looking for. so i've always kept a page somewhere that has all my bookmarks on it and makes it easy to manage them from anywhere.

i don't want the latest news or weather forecast or blog post on my start page. it only serves to distract me and it's hard enough to focus when you work from home. i don't want to see a bunch of advertising based on the crap on my page either.

so, you create an account (i ask for an email address and a password and i don't even care if the email address is real), you login, and you create your bookmarks for the last time. then, set your stfupls links page as your browser's start page and get on to doing whatever it is that you do.
